White radish cuisine
White radish is a plant that stores food in the roots. Almost the same as cassava but more similar to tubers. Radish can be processed into a variety of delicious and tasty dishes depending on how it is processed. Examples of dishes made from white radish:
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
5 shallots, thinly sliced
3 cloves of garlic, bruised
2 red chilies, thinly sliced
50 gr peeled shrimp
150 gr tomatoes, thinly sliced
3 cayenne pepper, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon of seedless tamarind
100 ml of chicken / meat broth
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
400 gr peeled radish, thinly sliced transverse
How to make :
Heat oil, saute shallots, garlic and red chilies until wilted.
Add the shrimp, tomatoes, cayenne pepper and tamarind until the shrimp changes color.
Pour in the broth, sugar and salt, stir well until the sauce is slightly reduced.
Add the turnips, cook until the turnips are tender, remove from heat, and serve hot.
